Tournament Information
Local bodies of water provide vast opportunities for angling success .
• Most lakes are within an hour travelling distance of Kingston.

• Tournaments begin at 7 o'clock in the morning and weigh-in is at 3 o'clock in the
afternoon. After September 1st tournament hours are 8am to 4pm.

• Cash payout guaranteed for the top 3 anglers and "Lunker fish" of each tournament.

• Anglers accumulate points per tournament in the Chapter Member Points events.

• Total points at the end of the season determines each member's ranking within the
club.  Top ranking members are giving the opportunity to compete provincially against
other members and qualify to Team Ontario.  Team Ontario members progress to
compete at national events.

• Twilight tournaments are open events for all to participate regardless of membership.  
For insurance purposes, proof of Liability Insurance is required by guests to
participate.  All guests participating will be considered as holding an interest into
membership with the chapter.  The chapter is limited to holding only three open events
per year.

• As of 2009, Kingston BASS Series hosted by Eastern Ontario Bassmasters is re-
named to "Eastern Ontario Bassmasters Series".  The events will be open to a chapter
member and one guest for participation.  Under some circumstances a chapter member
may be entitled to fish alone.  Please refer to tournament rules (when posted) for entry
fees and benefits to these events.
EASTERN ONTARIO BASSMASTERS
2009 tournament changes are listed in red.  These changes are a direct result of
insurance requirements imposed on all Ontario BASS Federation Nation affiliate
chapters by the governing BASS Federation Nation.

CHAPTER POINTS EVENTS
  • open to chapter members only
  • co-anglers are paired with a boater member
  • members accumulate points towards chapter standings
  • 7am to 3pm, September 1st 8am to 4pm
  • entry fee is $30
  • payout is broken down as (per boat entered)
  • Big Fish prize - $5
  • Payout pool is $20
  • First place - 50% of payout pool
  • Second place - 30% of payout pool
  • Third place- 20% of payout pool

EASTERN ONTARIO BASSMASTERS OPENS
  • open to PUBLIC
  • team event or single member entry permitted
  • 8am to 4pm
  • entry fee is $80
  • payout is broken down as (per boat entered)
  • Big Fish prize - $10
  • Payout pool is $52.50
  • First place - 50% of payout pool
  • Second place - 30% of payout pool
  • Third place- 20% of payout pool

OBFN QUALIFIER
  • open to chapter members only
  • must have qualified through previous year's chapter events or have prior
    approval
  • entry fee is $250
  • ask for details from Executive


CRAPPY / WALLEYE EVENTS-not operating these events for 2010
  • open to chapter members only
  • members may fish with other members
  • co-angler members will be paired with boaters
  • 8am to 3pm
  • entry fee is $10 per member
  • payout is to be determined by the participants the morning of each event

TWILIGHT SERIES- not operating these events for 2010
  • open to the PUBLIC
  • must show proof of $1,000,000 liability insurance
  • can have up to four persons in the boat
  • 5pm to 9pm
  • entry fee is $40
  • payout is broken down as (per boat entered)
  • Big Fish prize - $10
  • Payout pool is $22.50
  • First place - 50% of payout pool
  • Second place - 30% of payout pool
  • Third place- 20% of payout pool
